When we host your site we provide the place on
the Internet where your web site lives.
This eliminates the cost of buying your own
server, leasing a fast Internet connection and
employing technical staff to look after it.
Servers are expensive and require technical
expertise to run that most businesses don't
have. They also require a fast (and very
costly) connection to the Internet so that the
site always runs quickly.
When we provide hosting we mean that we provide
all of the equipment and other technical
resources that your need so that you don't have
any of the worries and costs associated with
doing it yourself.

The main qualities of a host are that it must be
lightning fast and fault tolerant.
Low quality servers will run very slowly at
certain times of day (such as 9am-10am and
5-7pm) due to different levels of traffic on the
Internet. Even worse, a low quality
hosting service may go down entirely for long
periods of time. This will never happen
with our servers.

network.
This network provides the absolute best Internet
backbone available and spans the globe to move

At least two connections (each from a different

In order to maintain 100% uptime (or very
close to this) your site needs to be monitored
for problems. |
Your server will be monitored 7 days a week, 24
hours a day by a Network Operations Centre.
In the unlikely event of a problem it will be
resolved as quickly as is humanly possible. |

All of our package deals come with 6 months free
hosting.
When the free period is over you'll need to pay
a small monthly fee to cover the upkeep and
bandwidth used by our servers. We'll also look
after the renewal of your domain name each year
and not make any charge for this.
If we are hosting your site you may also wish to
take advantage of our maintenance package for
text and picture updates.
